No – Myron Royce Gardens is happy to complete any project, no matter the size. We have completed projects in the past ranging from $500 to $100,000+. In general, a good starting budget is $5,000.

Myron Royce Gardens gives a free one-year, one-time replacement warranty for each plant (trees, shrubs, and perennials) that we plant. However, Myron Royce Gardens is not responsible for any plants that die due to lack of proper watering from the customer.
Myron Royce Gardens gives free estimates for any project. If a project is agreed upon, the design work is billed at an hourly rate. Contact us here to describe your project and get a free estimate.
Myron Royce Gardens only charges a 10% deposit fee! The remainder is due upon completion of the project.
Yes, Myron Royce Gardens is both licensed and insured. Proof can be provided upon request.
Myron Royce Gardens does both commercial and residential landscaping! We have done landscaping for homeowners, restaurants, dental offices, churches, and more.

General Landscaping FAQs
Landscaping can be installed any time the ground isn’t frozen. Myron Royce Gardens completes most landscaping jobs February through December.
Myron Royce Gardens recommends planting trees October through March in Southwest Missouri. However, if they are well-watered, they can also be planted April even through July.
Myron Royce Gardens recommends planting new shrubs April through November in Southwest Missouri. However, they can be planted February through December. Shrubs do best with time to establish their roots before the ground freezes.
Annual plants only live for a year, and must be replaced every year. They bloom all-season long.
Perennial plants live for many years, but only bloom for a short period each year.
Myron Royce Gardens uses both annuals and perennials, and can tailor according to your preference.

Trees have one woody stem with many branches sprouting from it. They usually grow 15ft or taller. (Ex. Dogwood, Birch, Pine)
Shrubs have many woody stems coming from the same rootstock. They usually grow 10ft or shorter. (Ex. Box Hedge, Hydrangea, Japanese Yew)
Myron Royce Gardens can plant trees or shrubs in your landscape, according to your preference. We can create privacy hedges, beautiful flowering accents, or garden borders.
Myron Royce Gardens uses deer spray, invisible nets, and deer-resistant plants to keep the deer away.

Mulch is good for gardens because it helps the soil retain more water for the plants, it stabilizes soil temperature, decreases weeds, lessens soil erosion, and adds organic matter (fertilizer) to the soil.
